Résumé :
We naturally see the world from our own perspective and mistrust what is different. What does not correspond to our perspective looks "abnormal", "inferior", we don't feel comfortable we are "afraid". But all perspectives are "normal" and respectable. People just have their own universe of references and everyone think it is...universal. If we don't know foreigners we will never be able to communicate with them in harmony: it's not only a matter of custom, language, food, suits... it is a structural matter.
It's "understanding the influence of cultural factors on human behaviour" so we must "think global and act local".
If your partner discovers you know his culture it will bring you a decisive "plus". That is why we decided firstly to analyse the Chinese cultural system, secondly to reveal the implications for cross-cultural management and thridly to come up with a special training for french business people who want to deal with Chinese counterparts, a training made by our team.
