Résumé :
This year, in France more than 40 000 nursing home seats are missing to answer to old people's expectations. This sentence explains how huge can be the business. To serve this growth, however, there is still not enough nursing home capacity, for building new beds or for restructuring existing facilities. Most nursing homes are ran by public institutions or associations. The private sector, which currently accounts for 55% of beds in France, has increased significantly its role in recent years.
Basically, there is a true boom in the private home care market, with companies attracted by the guaranteed demand provided by an ageing population.
The primary activity of our business project can be described as creating a new generation of old people home supplying and developing care services. Our aim is to open a new serenity center every 3 to 4 years. We are talking about a private care centre in which seniors could keep their autonomy until they become totally dependent. The capacity size would be around 30 beds, which could be widened to 45 beds, representing fairly small sized nursing home.
