Résumé :
The report has the objective to bring out the best strategic option for alitalia. For that, a rigorous and deep analysis has been driven. Firstly, it has been provide the analysis of the organisation's external environment and the organisation's strategic capability. Then, these internal and external points have been summarised into the SWOT model. Thanks to this model, some strategic options have been found through the TOWS model which is based on the points of the SWOT analysis. Further, three of the resulting strategic options have been evaluate through the success criteria tool. Thus, it has led to detect the best one.
This strategy has risen from the use of strength to avoid threat. This option consist in consolidate high quality service in order to consolidate or attract new business customers. This option involves both, improvement of the value chain (which is the most important) and the creation of product creating value for the business demand.
To finish, it has been explained how the organisation suffer to a real break because of the obligation to get a compromise for the stakeholders. Thus, it has been shown that almost all organisations cannot choose the best strategic option for their growth because of the stakeholder's expectations.
I introduce myself, I am Jonathan B., Strategic Manager of alitalia. I am to provide the members of the senior management team with an analysis of the company leading to the generation of the best strategy for the company. Of course, this one will have to fulfil the different success criteria which are suitability, acceptability and feasibility.
