Résumé
Internet was originally a tool for scientists and military to share information rapidly. But progressively it has become a tool for both individual users and company to communicate more efficiently, and to create new relationships (customers, distributors
)
The number of Internet users has grown rapidly in the past decade, from 100 000 users in 1997, to more than -600 000 users in 2003. This fast growth has enabled new challenges and new opportunities for the enterprise and has lead to the burst of E- Business. E business is new and it attracts more and more investors.
What is E Business? The integration of people, processes and information through communication technologies (Hawking, 2006)
At its maximum on 10 March 2000, the NASDAQ peaked at 5048.62, that is to say more than the double of its value in 1999. E business is new, with infinite opportunities and huge potential: E business is the future.
But the bubble crash in March 2000. After this period of growth and hopes succeed a period of disillusion.
