When the issue of international or global economic history is discussed, the overall impact of the United States on the development of the international economy is typically viewed as a linchpin for the development of investigation. While it is indeed evident that the United States has contributed considerably to the development of the global economy, it is evident that there are other countries that have made significant contributions to this process. Such as the case with Japan.
