Résumé :

Why did we choose monsanto as a subject ?
Firstly, we watched a documentary on Arte last week and we were surprised and really interested in all the revelations which were highlighted. Secondly, we did not know anything on monsanto before. So, we took the decision to share all that we learnt about this.
monsanto is the firm that owns 90% of Genetically Modified Organism's (GMO's) cultures all over the world. The firm was created in 1901, it becomes quickly the most important chemical firm in the whole world. Who is hidden behind this unknown giant? The answers are frightening... monsanto created the PCB, a chemical oil, their most profitable product at the time.
PCB is really dangerous for health, but they put it into the water in a river which went along a village. Numerous people were contaminated. monsanto said in a private and internal report : "We can't afford to lose one dollar of business". Tests realized in that river were astonishing : Fishes were put in it and died approximately 3 minutes later, the water was totally polluted.
