Résumé :
skoda, created in 1895, started its activity selling bicycles and motorcycles. Its first car was produced in 1905 more than 100 years ago, it was at the time a nicher company trading luxuries car. The company went through 2 world wars and the cold war. It is the third older car manufacturer. In 1991 after the revolution that overthrew communism and introduced the free market, Volkswagen swallowed it with the idea of renewing and developing the skoda Brand.
By going through a general audit of the company and then its different marketing and international marketing strategies, we will have good elements to judge if skoda former communist-controlled company will thrive in a global capitalist economy.
A third part will expose my point of view and recommendations on the company strategy.
