Nowadays, everything is about networking. People develop this networking through the people they can meet through in both their personal and professional life. On a regional, a national and now an international basis. The whole world is being a stage thanks to which the human being can get in touch and make business with anyone on earth.
The Information Technology is of a great help as far as developing new ways to communicate. It provided the Internet and the Intranet. The Intranet is restricted to a corporation. Some unofficial or confidential can be aired on the Intranet for specific users. On the contrary, the Internet is opened to any user. Moreover, the Intranet can use some Internet links, therefore the Internet cannot.
Corporation does develop Intranet web sites as a communication mean between the top management level and the employees. Nevertheless, it does not prevent face-to-face communication. It is another way to keep the employees informed about the current activities of the company and feel concerned about it. That is called cohesion.
More than an informational tool, the Intranet is used as a working tool in which every one of the employees has an identification name and a password. They directly contribute to the business of the corporation by integrating or transferring information to partners either internal or external.
The Crédit agricole group is seeking improvement in the efficiency of its business. The internal system is tackled. Is the computer system integration in accordance with the missions and values of the group?
