Résumé :
In the 1950s, while the Cold War between the Eastern and Western blocks was just starting, most of the European countries began to rebuild themselves in order to recover from World War II, and so did Finland. After this period of reconstruction, most of these countries underwent a real social revolution, mostly in the 1960s. But Finland had first a cultural revolution, which could permit a lot of change in the Finnish society. Many factors have permitted this cultural revolution to happen in Finland. For instance, the fact that Finland became independent in the beginning of the century cannot be a coincidence in the change of mind of Finnish politicians, artists and people.
Now we can wonder what the elements of this important cultural change were. In what field have the main changes been? And as a continuation, we can wonder what social consequences have followed these changes in the Finnish culture.
