Résumé :
africa, a continent endowed with immense natural and human resources as well as great cultural, ecological and economic diversity, remains underdeveloped for many years. Almost all the African nations suffered (and still suffer) from military dictatorships, corruption, civil unrest and war, underdevelopment and deep poverty. Numerous development strategies have failed to yield the expected results.
Although some believe that the continent is doomed to perpetual poverty and economic slavery, africa has immense potential.
Many literature criticize the World Bank-IMF approach in this continent, do these institutions are really necessary? Do they make the difference?
We will draw the past of africa, with "africa Today" we can see what the socio-economic reality is in nowadays. Finally "africa Tomorrow" is the part that try to predict what will happen in the next years.
